Pasadena Showcase House of Design 2015
Welcome to the Pasadena Showcase House for 2015. Built in California, the house is an eclectic English Tudor combined with Craftsman elements.
The main residence is over 9,400 square feet and a 2,600 square foot Carriage House with an upstairs apartment that complements it. The property includes many mature trees, a pool, a koi pond, and a wisteria arbor. The gifted designers and hundreds of craftsmen had 90 days to bring this project to fruition and that they did!
I brought you the Atlanta Decorators’ Show House earlier, as you may have reviewed. The Southern Showcase used a lot of neutrals with bright accent colors, whereas this western showcase was a little more into gray tones, art and pictures everywhere, natural stone, ceramic look-alike flooring, and many one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture. Let’s jump in and take a look at what the designers in the West are doing.
If you did not see my post for Atlanta, Georgia’s Decorators’ Show House and Gardens 2015 please take a look. Atlanta showcase would be considered the best of the South, whereas the Pasadena California Show House 2015 would be the best of the West. The Kips Bay Boys Club 2015 would be considered the best of the East in New York. I will be blogging on that soon. The best of the North…….not sure about that one! I think it would be Chicago! Sounds like another trip.
